Mini Vacation Recap

My boyfriend Sam and I packed up and headed to the Smoky Mountains for Memorial Day weekend. We left Jackson on Friday morning and came back early Monday afternoon. Here is a quick photo recap of our wonderful trip!!

A Mini Vacation

I'm taking a break from blogging, creating, working, writing reports, phone calls, scheduling, summer camp planning, lesson planning, and life in Jackson, Tennessee for a few days and going to the Smoky Mountains with Sam. I'm hoping for a relaxing and rejuvenating mini vacation to help me get through the busy summer months ahead. 

I hope that you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Chelsea's Birthday

One of my best friends named Chelsea (yes, I have two best friends named Chelsea) had her twenty-third birthday on May 10th! She lives far far away in Chattanooga and wasn't able to make it back to Jackson that weekend, so I mailed her some birthday goodness! This post is a little belated because I wanted her presents to be a surprise!

Quick DIY: Trim Headband

I love wearing headbands, but always seem to get headaches after a few hours of wearing them. I haven't found any loose headbands, so I thought I'd make some. Here's how I did it:

What I'm Doing This Weekend...

My boyfriend Sam is graduating tomorrow from the University of Memphis at Lambuth! Since this is the first graduating class at Lambuth, he will be graduating at the FedEx Forum in Memphis with other University of Memphis graduates. He is graduating summa cum laude. My boyfriend is smart, y'all! I'm so proud!
